VW Touran R-Line Launched
Features interior and exterior styling updates. In the UK, Volkswagen has given the VW Touran the R-Line treatment. The vehicle gains interior and exterior styling updates to enhance the sporty appeal of the vehicle.

The VW Touran R-Line features unique front and rear bumpers, radiator grille, side skirts and chrome strip for the rear bumper. The new 18-inch “Marseille” alloys and R-Line badges completes the list of external changes.

Inside, the MPV gets ‘Black Lead Grey’ inserts in the dashboard, center console and the doors. In addition to that, the Touran R-Line gets a black roof lining, grey stitching on the leather-trimmed three-spoke multi-function steering wheel featuring aluminum inserts and R-Line logo. The seats get contrasting micro-fiber side bolsters and R-Line logo on backrests of front seats. Rounding it off are the stainless steel pedals and R-Line sill protectors.

The Touran R-Line is available with a selection of turbocharged petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.4 TSI has an output of 150 PS and is mated to six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG. The 2.0 TDI is tuned to deliver 150 PS and 190 PS and comes mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed DSG.

The Touran R-Line range starts from £27,740 (€35500) and goes all the way to £31,505 (€40300).
