Watch this amazing Hot Wheels stunt track in action
YouTube personality Mark Rober, the former NASA engineer who taught us about pinewood derby cars, defrosting windshields, and our relationship with roadkill, appears to be like us in that he's still be a kid at heart.

This action-packed video above is perfect evidence of that. In it, Rober pits a number of different Hot Wheels cars against each other on a track that spans multiple stories, with impressive loops, jumps, and slides. It also includes a number of wild stunts involving a rooftop, hot tub, toy helicopter, mousetraps, and slow-motion fireballs for good measure.

Even better, the toy cars are versions of famous rides from some of our favorite movies and TV shows from our youth. Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, The A-Team, Knight Rider, and Scooby-Doo are all represented.

The cinematics are impressive, and using quality filmmaking to tap into our childhood nostalgia makes this race satisfying to watch. If you're curious about the techniques, there's even a behind-the-scenes video that shows how this video was made.

Mark Rober, will you be our dad?
