Watch an Old School Nissan Skyline Destroy Every GT-R on the Track
Don't mess with the GT-R granddaddy. Santa Pod Raceway in Bedfordshire, UK, is Europe’s first dedicated drag racing venue, and home to a host of drag racing events throughout the year.
On a typically wet and cold British afternoon, a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 – that had been modified to deliver around 1,500 hp – showed every other Godzilla on the track who was boss. It didn’t matter whether the Skyline gave its opponent a head start or not, the result was always the same – total domination.
Without seeing all the times, there is sighting of the Skyline hitting the quarter mile in just over 8.3 seconds at 262 km/h. Take that you young whippersnappers.
