Watch These Workers Ghost-Ride the Garbage Truck With Purpose
There's an old phrase that suggests we "work smarter, not harder." This garbage truck driver must have read that as "work like a monumental idiot, not harder." The sanitation worker in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico basically ghost-rides his garbage truck while running to grab bags that have been left on the curb.
Now, this would be a dumb idea if he were collecting garbage out in the desert, where the only danger is running off the road – but he's not. He's essentially letting this truck idle along without anyone at the wheel in the middle of what looks like a residential area. This is a very special degree of stupidity at work here.
In closing, if you're a trash collector, don't ghost-ride your truck. Scratch that, just don't ghost ride at all. You'll hurt someone or something.
