Woman survives 6 floor parking garage plunge
A woman is considered lucky to be alive after she and her car plunged to the ground from the 6th floor of a parking garage in Melbourne, Australia Monday.

The 41-year-old woman suffered head injuries but was conscious when police and first responders arrived to pry her from the vehicle.

The car landed on its side, and the roof was completely smashed.

Investigators are trying to figure out what led to the car smashing out of the ramp, and why the safety rail didn't stop the vehicle.

A paramedic on the scene said the woman is alive partially due to her seatbelt and airbags, and largely... to good, old fashioned good luck.
