Woman Ticketed for Driving with Google Glass
A California woman, Cecilia Abadie, was cited by the state's Highway Patrol for speeding and distracted driving. Why the distracted driving charge?

She wasn't speeding while talking on her cell phone or sending a text message, she was wearing Google Glass – the tech-enabled headset, which the officer claimed blocked her view. It's unclear whether she was using at the time of her speeding violation, or if the cop would have even bothered pulling her over for the headset alone.

As The Verge is quick to point out, this question once again brings up the safety of wearable tech like Google Glass while driving. The website points out a vocal group of fans that claim the technology isn't a distraction, although it has been outlawed for drivers in some areas. This is despite its ability to pipe directions right to the driver, allowing both eyes to remain on the road.
