Yamaha Europe introduces the 2018 Yamaha MT-03 & 2017 Yamaha R3

Yamaha Europe has announced new colour options for the 2018 Yamaha MT-03 and 2017 Yamaha R3. Deliveries begin in August 2017.

Both the 2018 Yamaha MT-03 and 2017 Yamaha R3 are Euro 4 compliant. The 321 cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled mill, coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, produces 42 PS of power and 29.6 Nm of torque. The naked bike tips the scales at 168 kg (Euro 4 version) while the faired motorcycle weighs 169 kg (Euro 3 version).

The 2018 Yamaha MT-03 will be offered in Yamaha Blue, Midnight Black and Night Fluo. The Night Fluo trim has been inspired by the paint scheme in the Yamaha MT-10 where in the bike is painted in grey while the alloy wheels are in fluorescent yellow.

The 2017 Yamaha R3 in Europe will be offered in Power Black and Race Blu (Matte Black and Yamaha Blue in the US). The Vivid White option retailed in the US will not be offered in Europe.

The 2018 Yamaha MT-03 has been priced at EUR 5,295 in Germany while the 2017 Yamaha R3 has a price tag of EUR 5,695.
