The Yamaha RX100 in its stock form was powered by a 98 cc air-cooled, single cylinder mill which is coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 11 hp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 10.39 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
The Hyderabad-based group has added chunkier tyres in this modified Yamaha RX100 cafe racer. Brakes remain a drum setup, both in the front wheel as well as the rear. The motorcycle's fuel tank is also new while the minimalist seat gets a bulge at the end like a typical cafe racer. The headlamp unit is new and gets a metal visor.
The Yamaha RX100 cafe racer gets a custom exhaust which adds to the alluring aura created by this modification. Yamaha India has just one 100 cc motorcycle on sale right now, the Yamaha Saluto RX, carrying a sticker price of INR 47,380 (Rs 25600).
