The new variants named the SZ-RR and SZ-S would join the three existing variants – SZ, SZ-X and SZ-R. Just like the Ray Z, the new variants of the SZ are mere cosmetic exercises, aimed at addressing different customer tastes through a single product.
The Yamaha SZ-RR comes with a sporty paint job and a pair of aluminum grab rails. It also gets a smoked visor and a 3D SZ emblem. The Yamaha SZ-S has an understated and calm approach which Yamaha say will be appreciated by all members of a family.
As the SZ is known for its refinement and fuel efficiency, the new variants use the same 153cc powerhouse which churns out 12.1 bhp of power. The gearbox is a 5-speed unit.
