You'll Never Guess Where Maserati's New SUV Is Debuting
Is the Italian automaker making the right move? Car and Driver, citing a story in the Dutch paper De Telegraaf, is reporting that the Maserati Levante will make its grand debut at the 2016 Detroit Motor Show.

The Italian automaker has teased an SUV for the past few years. The photos here are actually of its Kubang concept that debuted all the way back in 2011. Maserati is expanding its lineup and the world is going nuts (again) over SUVs, so dropping the Levante (the official name of the SUV) now makes sense. Teasing drivers for years doesn't.

There hasn’t been much in the way of news about the Levante. There have been spy shots of it and Maserati’s product plans leaked online, revealing its price range will vary from $80,000 to $150,000. We’ll have to wait to see if this report proves true or not as Detroit 2016 is not for some time. Regardless, it’s reasonable to assume that by this time next year we’ll both know what the Levante looks like and when it will launch.
