For the new Innova, the company has decided to focus on three key aspects: ride quality, rear space and exterior design, according to Hiroki Nakajima, Executive Chief Engineer Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC). Speaking about ride quality, TMC has promised it to be comfortable over poor road surfaces.
As for rear passenger space, the new Innova’s interior was designed around passengers in the second row, unlike the usual focus on driver and front passenger. Second row passengers will have much more space and better visibility than before, says Toyota.
The new exterior design lends a premium look to the Innova, sporting a large grille with chrome accents, swept back headlamps with LED tech, new L-shaped taillamps, and sportier bumpers. Judging by images of the new model on the road, it appears to have a much better road presence than the previous model.
