2017 Mitsubishi Triton
Mitsubishi’s line-up at the 2016 Thai Motor Expo includes the 2017 Mitsubishi Triton.

The 2017 Mitsubishi Triton was launched in Thailand last month and is offered in three cab styles: single cab, mega cab and double cab. The MY2017 update brings minimal exterior and interior changes to the pickup. On the outside, the new model features revised projector headlamps with new LED daytime running lights and dark chrome-plated grille.

The 2017 Mitsubishi Triton also features a new four-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, which has been borrowed from the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Electrically adjustable driver's seat, leather upholstery, push button start/stop system and touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and reversing camera are also available in the 2017 Triton. In the double cab version, the Triton now features a headrest for the middle passenger and ISOFIX mounting points.

The 2017 Mitsubishi Triton has no new or updated engines, with customers getting a 2.4-litre diesel engine that develops 181 PS and 430 Nm of torque, a 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces 178 PS and 400 Nm of torque or a 2.4-litre petrol engine that delivers 128 PS and 194 Nm of torque.
