The 2018 Hyundai Veloster has been spied yet again in South Korea. Previously the front- and rear-end of the car were heavily camouflaged, but this time, the car’s rear-end has been exposed in the spy shot.

The roofline steeply falls towards the rear-end where it can be seen that the redesigned model has a bigger back glass, i30-inspired tail lights which extend upwards to create an 'L' shape, dual central exhaust and a large roof-mounted wing.

The 2018 Hyundai Veloster is said to be offered with 2.0-litre GDI petrol and 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engines. Hyundai has listened to the current Veloster customers and will employ an independent rear suspension in the second-gen model. An N high-performance variant too could be offered down the line.

The new Hyundai Veloster is expected to be introduced in mid- to late-2017, with international launch following soon after. Hyundai showcased the current Veloster in India but didn't launch it.
