The 2018 Suzuki Swift range in Thailand starts THB 499,000 (Rs 517 000) onwards. Maruti launched the new Swift earlier this week in India.
Visually, the Thai-spec Swift is identical to the car sold in multiple markets across the globe. Compares to the India-spec model, it gets a different grille with a mesh pattern and a red stripe running across the grille through the middle. It also rides on a different set of 15-inch 5-split spoke alloy wheels.
A 1.2 L K12M Dualjet petrol engine powers the Suzuki Swift. It produces 83 PS of maximum power and 108 PS of peak torque. The engine is paired with a CVT as standard. The 2018 Suzuki Swift is 3,840 mm long, 1,735 mm wide and 1,495 mm tall. It is based on the Heartect platform and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm.
Highlights of the Swift's features list include LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED stop lamps, 7-inch infotainment touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link support, automatic climate control, cruise control, and keyless entry and push button start. The Thai-spec Suzuki Swift gets 6-airbags.
