Just 1,315 examples were built, although we doubt Ferrari figured that one owner would take his F40 on a camping trip. But who’s to say that an F40 can’t also serve as a weekend getaway car to the great outdoors? There’s no rule saying otherwise. With a tent, grill, and foldable chairs in hand, this F40 still looks magnificent in the wilderness. What, no room in the trunk for all your stuff? No problem, string it all to the roof. Just be careful not to scratch the paint. Oh, and pay extra attention to rocky roads. Ground clearance could be a problem.
