Highway Roche-Bois: Speed Limit from 60 to 70 km / h

Many motorists have criticized the speed limit is 60 km / h on the highway up to Roche-Bois. And Traffic Management & Road Safety Unit (TMRSU) finally decided to increase the limit to 70 km / h. This change is effective from yesterday, Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Other sections of the highway will also be involved in a review of the speed limit, said an officer from the Traffic Branch. The TMRSU and will change the signs in this direction. 

In fact, this is the Speed Camera installed on the highway at Roche-Bois who flashed the most motorists. From January 1 to August 20, 3037 drivers were taken in contravention. The Coromandel is second, 2,730 motorists were flashed. In third place, figure the camera located Sivananda Avenue, Curepipe, where 2280 people were fined.
