That's when reports indicated that the British automaker was proceeding with plans to make a long-roofed version of its XF sedan. Now it seems the news is only getting better.
In follow-up reports, Jaguar's design director Ian Callum suggests that the wagon – excuse us, "Sport Break" – will include an XFR version (yes, we're hoping Jaguar spells it "Sport Brake," too). That means the same 510-horsepower turbo eight as the XFR sedan and XKR coupe and convertible. And that's some very good news indeed, particularly for those looking to trounce the odd Porsche 911 off the line with the whole family on board.
