Lifted 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Feels Classic & Modern With Carbon Hood & Chrome Wheels
The Waipahu, Hawaii-based aftermarket outlet MJ Motorsports has created this ultra-cool Mudbath-painted 4Runner build with 'just a few' custom accessories and parts – and it looks spectacular against the island's backdrop.

The Japanese automaker's local subsidiary Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) has a ton of novelties for the 2026 model year – such as the GR Supra MkV Final Edition and GR 86 Yuzu Edition sports cars, the affordable Corolla Cross and Corolla Hatchback FX Edition, the triple EV threat of bZ, C-HR & bZ Woodland, plus the upcoming new iteration of the best-selling RAV4 in Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid form.

Even the regular 2026 model year nameplates aren't too shabby either – particularly the 2026 Toyota Tundra full-size pickup truck and Sequoia full-size body-on-frame SUV when selected as TRD Pro variants in the new exclusive Wave Maker color. But here's the thing. Some folks only have eyes for the family adventurer SUV – the 2025 Toyota 4Runner.

And, to make sure their example stands out in a crowd, they can also appeal to the witty nature of the aftermarket realm. But there's no need to take our word for granted as we have an eloquent example. The company has resolved to show us a Mudbath-dressed 2025 Toyota 4Runner, most likely a TRD Pro, that's also adorned with a nice set of extra goodies to make it even more impressive than in OEM form.

Those include the King's 2.5 coilover setup with a three-inch lift kit, the Eibach 1.5 rear springs, the ARK splash guards, the CBI rock sliders and skid plate, or the Screen ProTech. But that's not all, because this 4Runner stands out in virtually any crowd thanks to the classic-looking 17-inch chrome Advan GT alloy wheels with a +20 offset shod in 315/70/17 Falken RT all-terrain tires that make it feel like an apparition from the 1980s.

However, the 4Runner SUV remains modern and contemporary thanks to the cool Alpharex Nova LED headlights and the fancy Seibon TS hood dressed in exposed carbon fiber! So, what do you think of these new parts and accessories – like the practical Prinsu roof rack with amber LED lights? Do they make it even more enticing?

By the way, in case you're curious about the technical details, we're 99% sure this Toyota 4Runner is a TRD Pro model, which starts from $67,400, because the Mudbath color is exclusive to the flagship off-road variant. That means it's equipped with the 2.4-liter turbocharged hybrid i-Force Max powertrain and has 326 combined horsepower under the hood, part-time 4WD, and an eight speed automatic transmission.

So, would you buy such an example and take it to the aftermarket realm, or would you rather spend money on something else, like a four-door Ford Bronco Badlands or Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, which are also targeted at customers who seek additional off-road capabilities?
