Anoop Mathur, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd President (Two wheeler sector) and member of the Group Executive Board, confirmed to Economic Times saying that the 300cc Mojo will be released at the Auto Expo. He also said that the company will roll out at least 10 new products in the next two to two and a half years, and on an average, a new model will be released every three to four months.
As far as production is concerned, Mr. Mathur says that the company is working on “enhancing the capacity further”. Mahindra is currently making about 1,000 bikes everyday and the company is looking to increase this by 50% by the end of November.
The Mojo was showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo and based on recent spyshots, we have reason to believe that Mahindra are working on restyling the motorcycle. We were able to identify subtle design changes to the fuel tank and the headlight cluster in one of the prototypes.
The Mojo will be powered by a 292cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine that is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The power and torque outputs stand at 25.8 bhp and 25 Nm respectively.
