New France: Hit by Minibus, Pedestrian in Serious Condition
He crossed the road in New France when he was violently struck by a minibus. Seriously injured, the pedestrian was taken to the Nehru Hospital, where he was admitted yesterday, Thursday, December 19. His condition is considered serious.
It was around 19 pm yesterday, Thursday, December 19, when the accident occurred. A man, aged 45, was crossing the road in New France when he was hit by a mini van.
Seriously wounded, he was rushed to the Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital in Rose-Belle, where he was admitted to intensive care. His condition is considered critical.
As the driver of the vehicle, a "caretaker" 47 years old, he was subjected to a breath test which proved negative. The circumstances of the accident are, for the moment, unknown.
