Nissan X-Trail Hybrid Spied In Chennai
The Nissan X-Trail Hybrid was spotted testing in Chennai ahead of its market launch later this year. For India, the X-Trail Hybrid will be imported via the CBU route.

Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, the Nissan X-Trail Hybrid is based on the CMF-C platform, which hasn’t been localized in the country. The Nissan X-Trail Hybrid is available exclusively as a 5-seater and establishes a new segment of hybrid SUVs in the Indian market.

The hybrid system combines a 2.0-litre MR20DD petrol engine that produces 108 kW (147 PS/145 hp) and 207 Nm of torque and a RM31 electric motor that generates 30 kW (41 PS/40 hp) and 160 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an XTRONIC continuously variable transmission.
