The Outsider concept further supplements the crossover styling of the Kwid with tougher black plastic cladding, bigger wheels, silver skid plate, roof rails and green accents. It is similar to the Renault Kwid Climber concept unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016 in India earlier this year.
The interior has also been revealed, which offers a first look at the changes exclusive to the Brazil-spec Kwid. The center console has been slightly redesigned, with the window control buttons now located under the 7 inch MEDIANAV display. It also gets a door lock and rear defogger button placed beside the window controls.
While the India-spec Kwid has the glovebox located on the upper portion of the dashboard, the Brazil-spec Kwid features a passenger airbag in the same area, and the glovebox is repositioned lower. Also different is the instrument cluster, which features an analogue speedometer and tachometer, and a digital multi-info display. The ORVMs also get interior toggle adjustments or optional power adjustment, which are not available in the India-spec Kwid.
