Rezvani Unveils Production Beast Supercar

That doesn't appear to be the case with Rezvani Motors and the Orange Country, CA, company's bespoke Beast, though. A year after the original tease and later debut, a revised version of the low-slung carbon-fiber rocket seems ready for sale, and based on a teaser video, the at least one example of the car actually exists in the real world.

The transition from render to reality brings some tweaks to the Beast. The suspension is no longer clearly visible through the hood, and overall the carbon-fiber body appears slightly more curvaceous than before. Rather than the previous choice of two powerplants, there's now just one left: a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with a Rotrex supercharger and turbocharger spinning the rear wheels. The output is claimed to be 500 horsepower, which is allegedly enough to launch the Beast to 100 per hour in 2.7 seconds and onto a reported top speed of 265 km/h. ?An Ariel Atom 3-based chassis still underpins the car, but Rezvani says that its upgrades add even more rigidity than stock. All of the little adjustments have added about 100 pounds, bringing the production car's weight to 1,650 pounds.

For the first time, we're getting a really good look at the Beast's interior, and it mixes the add-lightness approach with at least one modern amenity. The seats, steering wheel and dashboard are all in exposed carbon fiber, but the infotainment system can run Apple CarPlay.

Prices to park a Beast in your garage start at $165,000, and Rezvani Motors claims that it can have one to you in eight to twelve weeks.
