Ringbrothers' 1969 Chevrolet Camaro G-Code is stylistically correct, extremely overpowered
It wouldn't be SEMA without the Ringbrothers. This year, the duo are back with a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro G-Code.

The G-Code is only the second '69 Camaro from the brothers and it's a stunning work of art.

The muscle car was built for Don Atkinson, who wanted a unique Camaro that was unlike anything else. From the extensive gallery above, it's easy to see that he got his wish. Under the hood of the G-Code lies a supercharged LS3 engine that has been increased to 416 cubic inches. The engine generates roughly 1,000 horsepower, which is put down through a Tremec six-speed transmission. Besides the engine's impressive specs, we're sure it sounds incredible thanks to a custom set of headers and a stainless steel exhaust system by Flowmaster.

Don't mistake the G-Code, though, for being a muscle car that can only go fast in a straight line. The Ringbrothers fitted the custom car with a full aftermarket suspension setup by Detroit Speed to ensure the muscle car can also go around a corner. And to slow the car down, 15-inch rotors in the front and 14-inch rotors in the back from Baer Brakes brings things down to a more reasonable speed.

The exterior of the Camaro, in traditional Ringbrothers fashion, is breathtaking. The vehicle is finished in "Blue Print," while the body features custom touches like hand-laid carbon fiber on the hood. The brothers, once again, called upon HRE for a bespoke set of wheels that are inspired by the ones found on the IROC-Z from the 1980s. The interior features the same amount of exquisite detail with custom work by Upholstery Unlimited.

Restoring a classic muscle car that everyone loves is a difficult task, but the Ringbrothers managed to keep the Camaro's classic lines while integrating modernity. That's a win-win.
