Called the Toyota Fortuner Epic, the updates included in the special edition model are only visual. The Japanese brand has confirmed that it will not be limited to a few numbers. Instead 50% of all the 3.0-liter D-4D diesel variants and the 4.0-liter V6 petrol variants will be fitted with accessories exclusive to the “Epic” edition. Accessories include a chrome nudge bar, a matte black tow-bar, rear sill protector, and 17-inch wheels finished in dark grey.
Inside, the cabin is upholstered in leather. Tech equipment include a touchscreen audio with Bluetooth, iPod compatibility, and a reverse camera.
Toyota has already released an update for the standard Fortuner that includes changes such as redesigned headlights and taillights with smoked surrounds, and front foglamps with chrome surrounds.
