Dubbed the Super Nano, the vehicle is the creation of an Indian tuner called JA Motorsport, according to Indian Autos Blog. With the itty-bitty slick tires, disc brakes and huge fender flares, it's immediately clear that there's something bizarre happening here. To make all the exterior modifications worthwhile, the company fits a 1.3-liter engine making a claimed 230 horsepower in place of the rear seat. Given the regular version's 38 hp, the upgrade should turn the Nano effectively into a rocket-powered roller skate. For a modicum of added safety, the interior is fitted with a roll cage and Recaro racing buckets.
You could also buy a warehouse full of Nanos for the price of this conversion because it costs JA Motorsport 2.5 million Indian rupees ($40,000) to make these changes happen. Still, any experience driving this thing would almost certainly be unforgettable. Whether that's from unmitigated terror or utter joy is anybody's guess, though.
