As seen in spyshots of the Etios facelift in India as well as official images of the Brazilian-spec Etios Platinum, most of changes are concentrated up front. It gets a new V-shaped grille with black inserts and chrome accents and a sporty bumper with a larger intake and round foglamps. At the back, the Etios facelift features a redesigned chrome bar running across the boot and an updated rear bumper.
The interior of the Etios facelift has a dual tone black and beige dashboard with beige fabric seats, black leather-wrapped steering wheel with buttons, and chrome inserts for the HVAC vents. Toyota will reveal the variant break-up as well as new features when the Etios goes on sale.
The engine lineup is likely to be identical to the current Etios, which includes a 1.5L petrol engine and 1.4L diesel engine. The former produces 90 PS/132 Nm of torque, while the latter outputs 68 PS/170 Nm. The only transmission option is a 5-speed manual gearbox.
