1,295 Motorists Ticketed Within 24 Hours
Of 7,661 motorists stopped by the Police during Operation Dragnet, 1295 have been fined for various offenses across the country. Several units of the Police were deployed for this exercise which was held for 24 hours, between 29 and 30 June 2012.

1 295 motorists were fined during the operation "Dragnet V/2012." Indeed, various police units were deployed in the four corners of the country during this exercise that proved "very successful". This operation was also to observe the effectiveness of these units in the field.

In total, 7,661 vehicles were stopped from 6:00 until the following June 29 at the same time. The Traffic Branch issued 363 tickets, the Northern Division is in 2nd place with 186 tickets. In addition, the Emergency Response Service (ERS) has arrested three motorists under the influence of alcohol.
