The 2016 KTM RC390 has been unveiled at the 2015 EICMA in Milan. The track-bred derivative of the KTM Duke 390 has received some significant mechanical changes while the cosmetics remain intact for the most part.

The Moto3 inspired motorcycle now gets a slipper clutch that had already been introduced in its naked sibling. The front disc brake is made larger, measuring 320 mm in diameter. The other salient features added in the 2016 version are the ride-by-wire technology, switchable ABS, adjustable front brake and clutch lever, and the new aluminium exhaust instead of the underbelly unit, that meets the Euro 4 norms.

Apart from the exhaust canister and the larger front disc rotor, there is no notable change in the styling of the new RC390.

The 2016 version is powered by the same 373 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled FI engine with DOHC and four valves, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The output of 43.50 PS and 35 Nm are unchanged.
