2017 KTM Duke 390 spied in India for the first time

The redesigned Duke 390 had already been spied testing in Europe previously.

The KTM Duke 390 will enter its second generation with the redesign this year. The all-new model has been speculated to be considerably redesigned, as seen in renderings previously. Key changes include new twin headlamps, redesigned and extended fuel tank, a tweaked frame and new switchgear.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is expected to be powered by a revised version of the current model's 373.27 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which currently develops 32 kW (44 hp) and 35 Nm of torque. Modifications may bring increased power and torque and more control on their delivery thanks to incorporation of ride-by-wire technology. Reports say a few more mechanical changes, such as a second counter-balancer shaft for the engine, ECU update and cooling system improvements, are also on the cards.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is expected to debut at EICMA 2016 in Milan in November. This means that its Indian launch will happen only in 2017, possibly in the first half.
