Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport Taxis Replaced by Teslas
That is one expensive taxi fleet. If you have plans to visit Amsterdam sometime soon, your trip from the airport to your place of lodging will be a bit different from what you’re probably used to.
That’s because the airport’s fleet of taxis has just been replaced by 167 units of the Tesla Model S, quite the luxury car for an airport taxi. The airport has said the change was made in order to reduce CO2 emissions, although it’s still obviously a drop in the bucket compared to what the planes produce.
