Blacked-Out Veneno Roadster Chilling at Lambo Factory
Permanent roadster is one mean-looking beast.

One of the most extreme convertibles ever built, the Lamborghini Veneno is also one of the rarest with just nine units slated for production. This particular model was recently spotted at the Lamborghini factory in Sant’ Agata, looking absolutely stunning in its red-accented gloss black body work. The $4.4 million permanent roadster comes powered by a 740-hp version of the Aventador’s 6.5-liter V12 that propels drivers from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and onto a top speed of 355 km/h.

The Veneno Roadster sports a monocoque and body crafted from Lamborghini’s carbon-reinforced polymers, keeping weight down to just 1,490 kg. Features such as the oversized diffuser, central fin, adjustable rear wing, and six wedge-shaped openings on the engine cover that all work to keep the car planted to the road carry over from the hardtop to the supercar cabrio.
