Thai Yamaha Motor has showcased a customized Yamaha M-Slaz, and the Yamaha R15 v3.0 at the 2017 Thai Motor Expo.

Custom Yamaha M-Slaz:

This M-Slaz is draped in grey bodywork with contrasting neon yellow wheels and front suspension. The rear number plate holder is neon yellow as well. The flyscreen and the pillion cowl get Zarco sticker with his racing number '5', as a tribute to the French MotoGP racer, Johann Zarco. The headlamp and tail light are LED, but the indicators are of bulb type. The instrumentation is an all-digital affair.

Powering the Yamaha M-Slaz is a 150cc single cylinder engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The SOHC mill pairs with a six-speed transmission. The front end features 37 mm upside down fork with neon yellow finish; and the rear gets a monoshock with an external gas reservoir. Brakes include disc on both ends. The price of the motorcycle starts from THB 89,500, including VAT.

Yamaha R15 v3.0:

This particular Yamaha R15 v3.0 is the Movistar Livery edition. The bike gains Yamaha's racing decals on the bodywork. Mechanically, the bike is the same as the standard version. The bike has an aggressive riding position, thanks to the rear-set footpegs, and clip-on handlebars. The instrument cluster is fully digital.

The bike harnesses power from a 155.1cc SOHC engine with VVA technology, liquid cooling and fuel injection. Pairing with a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch, the engine produces 19.31 PS at 10,000 rpm; and 14.7 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The mill is E10 compatible as well. When it comes to cycle parts, the bike comes with upside down front fork, and a rear monoshock. The motorcycle comes to a halt using disc brakes on both ends.
