Finland artist gains fame for massive cow car sculptures
As the old saying goes, one person's trash forms the building blocks for another person's giant cow statues (or something like that).

That must be the way it goes in the head of Miina Äkkijyrkkä, anyway, since she takes parts from old cars and turns them into supersized metallic bovines. The artist has had huge doses of both creative and bovine education, having attended both a school for dairy farming and The School of the Fine Arts of Finland.

Äkkijyrkkä takes care of air-breathing cows as well as the giant ones she builds. Her land is filled with both, and the flesh-covered animals mingle at the feet of the formerly mobile ones. Head over to This Is Colossal to see more of her work.
