That's right, you did not really think that this 2027 Honda Civic was real, did you? Well, it's not, as it came to the World Wide Web courtesy of Evren Ozgun Spy Sketch, who recently shared it on YouTube in the form of a short video that shows it from multiple angles, inside and out, and we have to admit that it is one good-looking machine.
It does not have many things in common with the current iteration, as this imagined 2027 Honda Civic Sedan looks more premium than ever. It is also a bit sportier in the styling department, courtesy of its flared wheel arches and the aggressive lines on the profile. It has a flat nose, a tiny grille, a pair of slim LED headlights with incorporated DRLs, a pair of taillights that somewhat remind us of certain Genesis cars, and a very sporty rear bumper.
2027 Honda Civic \- Rendering
The CGI-infused model mixes sharp and soft lines like a champ. It has flus-mounted door handles, traditional mirrors, and a set of five-spoke alloys that contribute to its sporty-looking nature, backed up by lime green brake calipers on each corner. The rear privacy windows and multiple black accents stand out against the car's white body, and this model also has a sunroof that bathes the cockpit in more natural light when opened.
Speaking of the cabin, it is not often that it gets rendered alongside the exterior. However, the quoted rendering artist made a very nice exception this time around and imagined the car's interior, too. We have to say that the dual-screen setup that mixes the infotainment screen and digital gauge cluster, the shape of the dashboard, and the air vents kind of send new-age BMW vibes. Still, that doesn't mean that we do not like the styling, because we do, both inside and out.
But is Honda really working on a brand-new Civic as we speak? Well, given that the current one is only four years old, we believe the answer to be no. However, we can speculate that the Japanese automaker is certainly considering the approach for the next generation, as there is absolutely no reason to believe that this model won't survive. We hope that the brand's execs see these renderings and decide to use them as inspiration for the future Civic, as the car deserves to look better, and this one ticks this box like a champ. But do you actually like this CGI model more than the real one?
