India-Bound 2015 Ford Everest (2015 Ford Endeavour) Gets 5-star Crash Test Score
The report concludes that the car, a Ford Everest Trend 4×4 Auto variant with a 3.2-litre five-cylinder turbodiesel engine and weighing 2,370 kg, has acceptable pedestrian protection, and a good whiplash protection. The frontal offset score is 15.38 out of 16, the side impact score is 16.00 out of 16, and the pole test score is 2.0 out of 2.
The ANCAP report says, “the passenger compartment held its shape well in the offset test. Pedal and steering wheel displacements were well controlled. Driver and passenger contact with the airbags was stable. All doors remained closed during the crash. After the crash all doors could be opened with normal effort.”
