World's fastest crash test
The industry experts at EuroNCAP usually crash a vehicle at 64km/h during a safety rating but what would happen to your car should you crash at a speed way above than demanded for a standard rating?

British motoring show 'Fifth Gear' decided to conduct the world's fastest crash test to show the destructive forces involved if your family hatchback hit a rock face at 193km/h. Their guinea-pig car for the test would be a first-generation Ford Focus.

The Focus was launched using a catapult and rocketed towards a concrete wall, its unfortunate occupants a couple of shop-window mannequins.

Unsurprisingly, the vehicle was obliterated and the occupants inside were subjected to G-forces of up to 400... not something you could walk - even crawl - away from.
