Anil Bachoo, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Infrastructure, discussed the challenges the company faced to start its operations in Mauritius, and its success in seven years with a turnover stands at Rs 7 billion . He commended the company for its modern storage terminal with a capacity of 24,000 metric tons in Red Sea. He also said that Indian Oil is the largest network of service stations in Mauritius and is a major supplier of several airlines.
The minister said that despite the situation of Mangalore Refinery, Mauritius will continue to be supplied with oil. The Indian High Commissioner TP Seetharam abounded in the same direction. He said that the difficulties facing the refinery will not prevent that Mauritius is supplied with fuel. He also said that the success of Indian Oil depends on the quality of its services. Madireddi Ramana, the Managing Director of Oil India, expressed his thanks to Deputy Prime Minister for his support and assured that the company will strive to ensure the best service to its customers.
