Insane Tuner Creates 900-HP Ferrari 488 GTB
When Ferrari revealed the twin-turbocharged 488 GTB, we knew that it wouldn't be long before some tuning company went ballistic.

It is much easier to get more power from a boosted engine than a naturally aspirated one, so we knew that the 488 had big potential. Now German tuning company VOS (Vision Of Speed) Performance has given the 488 a stage 3 upgrade. The 3.9-liter V8 now produces 888 hp and 910 lb-ft of torque. That is not much less power than the 949-hp LaFerrari and more than 200 more lb-ft of torque.

If this is simply too much power for you, VOS does offer an 819-hp version with 860 lb-ft of torque. Holy crap, that counts as tame?! VOS hasn't released any performance figures but the numbers are sure to make your head explode. The performance upgrades are complemented by a multitude of carbon fiber pieces that look phenomenal. The tuned 488 which VOS calls "Project 9-x", rides on 21-inch Loma wheels with 225/35 and 325/25 tires in the front and back respectively. For that much power, 325 might not actually be enough tire in the rear! The 9-x is a great example of what can be done with Ferrari's new turbo engines. The 488 now looks like THE Ferrari to buy.

Although it doesn't show much, VOS Performance even released a cool trailer for its awesome 488 GTB.
