Japan Gets Exclusive BMW 5 Series
BMW has introduced a limited-edition 5er for the Japanese market. BMW has revealed a new special edition 5 Series for Japan. Dubbed the Exclusive Sport, the model is limited to just 300 units and can be had in either sedan or Touring body style.

The special model is offered with a choice of two four-cylinder units: a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline unit in the shape of the 523i, and a similarly force-fed diesel unit for the 523d. Buyers will also gave a choice of white and a very dark metallic blue called Individual Carbon Black. Inside, the seats, door panels and lower section of the dash are trimmed in Cinnamon Brown leather, with other exclusive touches including Individual Black Piano trim, an “Exclusive Sports” plaque, Head-Up Display and an upgraded sound system. The limited edition model retails from ¥ 7,190,000 to ¥ 7,490,000 (approximately $72,200 - $75,200 at today’s rates).
