Other changes that can be recognized are redesigned taillamp clusters similar to the Kia Cadenza, larger alloy rims and chrome-finished dual exhaust tips. The interior has not been photographed, but one can imagine it having sport seats, dual tone leather option and exclusive trim options.
A closer look at one of the spyshots reveals a small T-GDI badge on the grille, which indirectly confirms the presence of the 1.6 T-GDI engine that is already available in the Kia Forte Koup and Kia Forte5 variants. In the latter, it outputs 201 hp and 265 Nm of torque. A 7-speed DCT gearbox will serve as its transmission, while a six speed manual gearbox could be the option.
Interestingly, Hyundai is also working on a Sport version of the new Hyundai Elantra. The Kia K3 Sport/Kia Forte Sport is expected to launch in Korea in H2 2016.
