Back in 2011, the Swedish supercar manufacturer set the record for running 0-300-0 kilometers per hour, clocked at 21.19 seconds in the Agera R. Since then, however, it's made faster, more powerful versions of the Agera. So it took the One:1 out on its test track in Ängelholm, put it in the hands of its factory test driver Robert Serwanski, and let 'er rip.
The result was a sprint up to 300 km/h from a standstill and back to a halt again in just 17.95 seconds. That's an impressive 3.24-second improvement over its previous record, which is what you might expect from what Christian von Koenigsegg and company have billed – owing to its metric kilowatt of power – as the world's first "megacar." Even if this new run has yet to be Guinness-certified like the last one.
