The movie isn't due to hit screens until 2016, so until then, we'll have to focus on the video game world as the Bat gets a new car to appear in Batman: Arkham Knight.
The game is the fourth entry in the action-adventure series starring the Caped Crusader and is the first to appear on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. The franchise kicked off on the previous generation systems with Batman: Arkham Asylum from developer Rocksteady. After sitting out of production of Batman: Arkham Origins, it's back in the driver's seat for the latest one.
Arkham Knight will put players directly in control of the redesigned, dune-buggy-like Batmobile that you see above. According to a preview in Game Informer, the car can transform between a standard Pursuit mode and Battle mode (as pictured) with a cannon and machine gun, which seems like very un-Batman equipment. It can also be remote controlled so players can swap between the Dark Knight and the vehicle to help with combat.
The game is scheduled for a 2015 release, but Rocksteady is promising more details about it during the E3 video game tradeshow from June 10-12. Scroll down to watch a video of the latest Batmobile transforming between modes in the game.
