New Batmobile Breaks Cover
For next year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film, the Dark Knight dumps his Tumbler from the last three movies in favor of a new ride.

We've actually already seen the armored machine during shooting on the streets of Detroit and even in a brief video. However, the Caped Crusader's latest Batmobile just got a big, public debut during the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, which means we now have even better photos of it in the gallery above.

The Batmobile looks a lot more aggressive than we're used to, with two guns conspicuously positioned right at the front. The design also packs a lot of armor, even around the semi-exposed front wheels. In all, the shape seems to blend a little of the long, low styling from Tim Burton's road-going rocket ship and the chunky, military inspiration from Christopher Nolan's trilogy.

These new shots also show the interior, and it looks like a cross between KITT from Knight Rider and a fighter jet. Batman has a multifunction steering wheel to handle some of the controls, but a joystick is in there too. The labels on the multiple switches and buttons might provide a hint at the Batmobile's stunts, and they include Harpoon, Spiked Coil, and Sonic Repellent.

According to The LA Times, the latest film pits Batman and Superman against each other, but there's also another villain to stir the pot. Given that Jesse Eisenberg is taking on the role of Lex Luthor, he's probably the culprit. Still, a fight between the two superheroes on the big screen is tantalizing. You have to wonder whether Batman and this latest Batmobile really have the firepower to tackle the Man of Steel, right?

The film is scheduled to premiere on March 25, 2016, and the teaser trailer is embedded below.
