Manslaughter: Driver Fined Rs 80,000
Driver was fined Rs 80,000 by the magistrate Renuka Dabee, sitting in court through Thursday. He was found guilty of manslaughter by negligence. The court also ordered the suspension of his license for a period of three years.

The driver of a fifty years is accused of hitting a motorcyclist, February 12, 2010, at the junction of streets Stewardship and La Chaussée, while he was driving his truck. At his trial, the accused pleaded not guilty. 

In his statement, the defendant said he went to the floor and the street, the street Stewardship arrived, it stopped on the white line. When he started to move towards the rue La Chaussée, he heard a noise on the side of the van. He stopped his vehicle and saw a motorcyclist down. The latter was seriously injured. 

Continuing through police and forensic officers had presented a series of photographs to explain the exact causes of the accident. For its part, the forensic police also filed and attributed the death to a 'shock due to multiple injuries'. 

The magistrate Renuka Dabee noted that the victim died on impact of the accident. "According to police, the accused has committed traffic offenses and this shows that a driver is not careful," said the judge.
