Inside and out, from the oily bits to the touch points, this Sorento has been fussed over to be a better crossover than ever before.
Leading off the changes is the installation of an optional 3.3-liter V6 under the hood. The new mill makes a robust 290 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the 2.4-liter direct-injection four-cylinder becomes the default engine for the Sorento, and is still rated at 191 hp and 181 lb-ft. All Sorento models, in front- and all-wheel-drive flavors, make use of a six-speed automatic transmission, as well. Also standard across the range for 2014 is electric power steering with three selectable modes (comfort, normal and sport).
Visually, you'll see that Kia has tweaked both the front and rear fascia, added LEDs and available fog lamps to the nose of the CUV and widened the opening on the lower front valence. 17-, 18- and 19-inch wheels are available, depending on just how much shoe-bling you can handle.
