The X-Trail X-Tremer and X-Tremer Hybrid get a gloss black garnish underneath the V-motion grille, chrome garnish above the registration plate, thicker silver skid plates on the front, side sills and rear bumper. The X-Trail measures 4,640 mm long, 1,820 mm wide and 1,720 mm high, has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm and boot volume of 550L.
Some of the features equipped in the X-Trail include projector headlamps with LED DRLs, power adjustable seats, Active Engine Brake, Active Traction Control and Active Ride Control, cruise control, dual-zone climate control system, touchscreen infotainment system with Nissan Connect, Around View Monitor, four airbags, push button start/stop, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.
The regular X-Trail is available with two engine options: a 2.0L 4-cyl motor producing 149.5 PS & 220 Nm of torque, and a bigger 2.5L 4-cyl petrol unit with 186 PS and 234 Nm of peak torque. The hybrid variant combines a 147 PS 2.0L 4-cyl petrol engine and a 41 PS RM31 electric motor. The base 2.0L petrol is fitted with a 6-speed manual as standard, while Nissan's X-Tronic CVT is standard in the 2.5 petrol and Hybrid variants (optional in 2.0L petrol).
