NTA response to Shakeel Mohamed: "We operate legally"
The National Transport Authority (NTA) waiting for the Minister of Labour firmly. Shakeel Mohamed said he had opened an investigation into this organization, which he suspends the licenses of bus drivers unfairly. The NTA maintains that it operates legally.

"We operate legally in accordance with Articles 107 and 108, when we suspend the license of a bus driver," says an executive of the National Transport Authority (NTA).

On Tuesday, August 16 after a meeting between the Minister of Labour and Trade Union members of the Common Front, Mohammed Shakeel had doubts about the operations of the NTA. Shakeel Mohamed had found that bus drivers are being unfairly suspended.

"At the NTA, we found that bus drivers have a poor behavior towards the elderly and students. In most cases, they prefer to forget about the bus stops or else adopt a common language, "suggests the same source.

"Some people try to suggest that we suspend without resorting to a disciplinary board. What is wrong arch, as they have the same right to appear with a lawyer. Those who feel aggrieved can always use e to justice, "he says.

Shakeel Mohamed suggested that he intended soon to meet with the Minister of Transportation and Public Infrastructure, Anil Bachoo, on this issue, hoping to find common ground with the officers of the NTA
