Peugeot Teases Fractal Concept for Frankfurt
This fall's big auto show may not be in Paris this year, but French automakers are still gearing up to showcase their capabilities at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

And for Peugeot, that will come down to the Fractal concept. Though the Lion marque has yet to reveal full details of the show car, it is giving us a pretty good glimpse of what's to come in a series of teaser videos – a full playlist of which we've included below.

The Fractal is billed as an Urban Electric Coupé, but appears to adopt a removable roof of some sort to give it an open-air cabriolet form. Its design has a futuristic theme punctuated by the two-tone treatment that has become the brand's signature – this time with white up front and black in the rear. The concept incorporates an innovative approach to exterior lighting, suicide doors, and an open interior with copper trim.

The design theme inside and out was adopted from high-end audio systems, and that includes a focus on its own sound signature. Peugeot brought in celebrated electronic music producer Amon Tobin to consult on the project, and fitted the Fractal with a Focal audio system with "subpac" speakers in the seats that channel sound directly into the occupants' bodies.
