The production-spec Maruti Ignis has been spied undisguised for the first time by Team-BHP reader, RavenAvi. The Ignis is reported to launch for sale in India on January 13, although Maruti Suzuki has not confirmed the launch date, yet.

The Maruti Ignis spied seems to be the top-end variant, featuring gloss black 16 inch alloy rims, LED DRLs, Bi-Xenon projector headlamps, rear windscreen wiper, black ORVM caps and a gloss-black painted roof. However, it doesn't feature silver roof rails or chrome door handles that were seen in the Maruti Ignis Concept at the Auto Expo 2016.

The exterior color of the Ignis spied appears to be finished in the Baleno's Fire Red color. It measures 3,700 mm long, 1,660 mm wide, 1,595 mm high, has a wheelbase of 2,435 mm and ground clearance of 180 mm.

The Ignis is reported to launch in both 1.2 K12B petrol and 1.3 DDiS diesel variants with an AMT option, and will be Maruti's second product to ride on the Baleno's lightweight platform.
